Every holiday season, Noosa has something exciting waiting. But even after the holidays end, Noosa continues to offer beautiful weather and a calendar full of events to keep the whole family coming back. 2017 offers plenty of fabulous events and excitement for the whole family and you’ll want to save these dates for your diary.

For the month of January, the Ginger Flower and Food Festival is coming to town to brighten your day, as the flowers will be in full bloom.

Join the Noosa Summer Swim in February with ocean races over 1km, 2km and 3km, and the new 5km Noosa Grand Prix Marathon distance. The iconic Noosa Festival of Surfing returns early March for 8 Days of Pure Stoke with events for grommets to grandpas, dogs, body surfers, specialty and pro divisions.

Discover new flavours and great Australian wines in May at Noosa Food & Wine 2017, with some of Australia’s best chefs in beautiful beach, river and hinterland locations. In June, the Noosa Festival of Water will return for a one of a kind water conservation effort brought to you by the Noosa Council.

In July, the whole family can stay active as the Hydrothon Noosa returns, along with the famous Noosa Long Weekend Festival, and lastly, but definitely not forgotten, the rivalrous Pomona King of the Mountain Challenge is to return and is said to be more challenging than ever.

In August, you can dust off the ole’ vintage bikes and participate in the Noosa Strade Bianche, as it will return. Noosa Open Studios along with the Noosa Hill Climb will return as well, providing entertainment and adventure for all ages.

Soothe your soul with the beautiful sounds of a saxophone at the Noosa Jazz Party, and enjoy the sights and sounds of all things country in the Noosa Country Show, both returning in September. The month of October will bring the Noosa International Rugby 7’s Festival and the Noosa Triathlon Multi-Sport Festival. The Noosa Beach Classic car show and the Noosa Boat Regatta will be coming to town as well.

In November, the exciting Junction Flava Street Fest and the Noosa International Film Festival, along with another Noosa Hill Climb, will surely spice up Noosa and your holiday. Finally, in December, Noosa will light up the night sky in the New Year’s Eve Fireworks show at Noosa Marina.
