Competition returns…

…with the Noosa Festival of Surfing

The world’s largest surfing event by competitor numbers, returns for 8 Days of Pure Stoke with events for grommets to grandpas, dogs, body surfers, specialty and pro divisions.

This year’s competitor numbers are expected to increase from last year’s number, which included entrants from more than 20 different countries totaling at over 800. There are 11 specialty events including bodysurfing, finless, nose-riding and more; with age divisions from under 15 to over 70. This 8 day festival will take place between 4 to 11 March 2017.

The Noosa Festival of Surfing also includes free entertainment including artists like Pat Capocci, whose unique style and charisma can be heard on Saturday March 11 at the Beach Bar. Other artists such as Los Laws, Bearfoot, The Wet Fish, Kallidad, and Adam Harpazare all scheduled to perform at different times throughout the event. For more information, click here
