On the Noosa Main Beach, Noosa River and all around Noosa, the Food and Wine Festival will be celebrated from 20 May to 22 May. Prices start at $15 for events, and guest chefs from around the continent will be joining local restaurants to offer lunches and dinners at some of the area’s best eateries. A welcoming party kicks off the event on Friday at the Main Beach, and on Sunday, events include Surfers versus Chefs BBQ breakfast competition and the Full Moon Asian Seafood Feast.

Also on Sunday, guest chefs will continue the celebration at places like Acuri, Gaston Noosa, Noosa Beach House, Woodfire Grill, Peppers Noose, Locale, Sirocco, Noosa Boathouse and Miss Moneypenny’s. Also during the weekend, at the J Theatre, Pete Evans will co-host a light dinner, presentation and Q & A session, where guests will receive his 10-week activation program, “The Paleo Way,” all for $95.

Lastly, a scenic river cruise travels to Makepeace Island where the Australian home of Sir Richard Branson will be open for lunch and an exclusive tour. Celebrity chefs Peter Kuruvita, Massimo Mele and David Pugh from Brisbane at Restaurant Two designed the seafood lunch.
