Surfer culture…

…a celebration returns

The Noosa Surf Film Festival returns for its second year, celebrating film and surf culture, with the backdrop being some of the world’s most pristine waterways. This independent film festival features both amateurs and professionals, as well as short and feature length films. The festival, which takes place from 6 to 8 October, will coincide with the Queensland premier of “A Day Late & A Dollar Short,” an original look at a punk surfer living in the modern world.

Full festival passes are $65, with tickets to the premiere being only $20, and the rest of the festival priced at $15 per session per person. The weekend will feature four screenings to which viewers can pay for separate entry, or the full festival pass includes access to all screenings, as well as entrance to the launch party.
