Noosa spring days in five unique ways

Spring sees the natural beauty of Noosa further unfold as the region readily embraces a host of activities firmly focused on the great outdoors. It’s a time of year when the sun almost endlessly shines, the beaches are warm and welcoming, and al fresco dining is the order of every day.

If you’re looking for spring pursuits that truly tick all the right leisure and relaxation boxes, here’s a quick snapshot of Noosa activities to indulge in the ambience of spring.

Eumundi markets

Every Wednesday and Saturday the historic hinterland town of Eumundi transforms into a bustling outdoor marketplace featuring local artisan offerings, gourmet delights, giftware and more. The Eumundi Markets draw visitors from all over Australia to explore over 600 stalls showcasing the region’s artistic and craft talent.

Spend a morning perusing the wares then relax over lunch at the Imperial Hotel, or watch the passing parade from the comfort of bookstores, bakeries and coffee houses that line the main street.

Noosa National Park

At the eastern end of Noosa’s bustling Hastings Street the quietening oasis of the world-renowned Noosa National Park awaits. Here, a series of walking trails allows you to explore the coastline in all its glory, with the opportunity to sight a koala or two along the way.

The trails are generally suited to all levels of fitness and there are a host of spots to stop, relax in the sunshine or take a dip in the sparkling blue waters of the Coral Sea.

Ginger Factory and Spirit House

Just off the highway southwest of Noosa is one of the Sunshine Coast’s oldest and most surprising towns – Yandina. This former logging and sugar hub now boasts a host of tourism delights including The Ginger Factory, Nutworks and renowned Spirit House restaurant.

Set in lush and expansive tropical gardens, entering the Spirit House is akin to opening a window into a little piece of Thailand, with a spectacular ambience and equally sensational cuisine.

Peregian Beach

Nestled on the coast between Coolum and Noosa, the welcoming township of Peregian Beach offers a laidback feel reminiscent of childhood days at the beach.

This precinct, so adored by locals, features a patrolled beach, expansive park and playground along with boutique stores and a host of restaurants. On the first and third Sundays of the month, the parkland adjacent to the beach also plays host to vibrant artisan markets and live entertainment.

Noosa River

Come springtime the waters of the Noosa River become a playground for locals and visitors alike. Catch a ferry down the river from Tewantin to Hastings Street, or take a stroll along its banks and spend a day shopping, dining and indulging in great coffee.

If the waters prove too enticing to resist, there are a host of activities to enjoy like kayaking, paddle boarding, boat hire and more.

Noosa Quays is a premium Noosa accommodation provider, offering deluxe apartments on the waterfront at Noosa Sound. Located within easy reach of Hastings Street, Noosa River, the Noosa beaches and all the dining and activities on offer, it is centrally located and easily reached.
