Wild Women Adventure Race

Disconnect from the world…

…and reconnect with nature

On 15 October, the Wild Women Adventure Race takes place in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland, in historic Pomona, where fitness challenges – for women only – showcase endurance, mental and physical strength, and teamwork. The courses consist of races on foot, canoe/kayaks and mountain bikes, and competitors use traditional methods of finding hidden checkpoints. Instead of using GPS applications or smart phones, team members disconnect and use old fashioned compasses and maps.

For paddling, a stable two-person craft will be available for each team of two. Each competitor will wear a personal flotation device for safety.

Bikes are available for rent, or you can use your own, so simply register online and bring your running shoes, compass and backpack. Register online here before 9 October. Race begins at 8 am on the 15th, with registration beginning at 6:30 am.

For those looking for ultimate relaxation after a day of rigorous activity, Noosa Quays is just the spot. With oversized balconies overlooking the serene Noosa Sound, sea salt breezes and waterfront apartments welcome guests among its private beach and tropical gardens. Wind down with a glass of wine or time in the sauna, all while being just a stroll away from downtown Hastings Street in Noosa.
