Schnit International Short Film Festival

See a worldwide celebration…

…of short films and creativity

On 15 October, The J will be the very first venue on the continent to screen the Shnit International Short Film Festival. Recommended for ages 18 and up and beginning at 7:30 in the evening, the cost of admission is only $15 per adult, and this multi-platform event presents a showcase of originality and diversity through high quality short films.

While you’ll be celebrating and viewing here in beautiful Australia, you’ll be joining those across five continents who celebrate the festival simultaneously over 12 days, celebrating more than 200 films and over 30,000 film makers and celebrators. Overall, the festival gives away $100,000 US dollars in cash prizes across the festival. The event, which is celebrating its 12th year, started as a local European initiative, and now connects those all across the globe to celebrate short films.

Close to the action, but tucked away among its own tropical gardens and private beach, is Noosa Quays, a resort perfect for those looking for the ultimate in relaxation without sacrificing location or convenience. The resort boasts oversized balconies with every room, and each room with the exception of poolside looks directly at the serene waters of the Noosa Sound. Sea salt breezes, a relaxing sauna, unsurpassed hospitality and convenience await. For more information, or to make a reservation, visit our Noosa accommodation
