1st, 2nd and 3rd October, join tourists and locals alike to indulge in the sights and sounds of the natural and cultural landscapes that the serene and stunning Noosa Hinterlands has to offer, by participating in the Great Noosa Trail Walk. This three day extravaganza, through “Noosa Country,” is sure to inspire and rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.

This peaceful trail runs parallel to the country towns of Kin Kin, Cooroy, Pomona and Cooran that take you to even more amazing walking trails,  leading your adventure to breathtaking farmlands, natural forests, with spectacular and picturesque lookouts of the hinterland through to the ocean, as far as the eye can see. Trail guides will be at your disposal, to offer assistance and information on the history and landscapes.

You’re encouraged to take your time to walk at your own pace, feast your eyes on the landscapes, and enjoy the little treasures and gifts that the trail has to offer, such as antique shops and local cafes. This year, for your viewing pleasure, a nightly entertainment program has been established in both the Kin Kin and Cooran cities. If you can’t get enough of the sights and sounds of the Noosa Hinterlands, camping accommodations provided by both Kin Kin and Cooran campgrounds are also available for a one of kind experience that is sure to be treasured.

Registration starts at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre, and numbers are limited to 150 walkers per walk, so register quickly! Enjoy the best of the bush with The Great Trail Walk, and retire by the beach at luxurious Noosa Quays.
