You might like to take a break from chocolate and sample some of our best local cheeses at the annual Kenilworth Cheese, Wine and Food Festival on Easter Saturday 19 April. A day of farm-to-fork feasting and fun in the hinterland near Noosa at the Kenilworth Town Park from 7am. Entry is free.
And speaking of free…Noosa Free Holiday Buses are back for Easter!

From 14 – 21 April, Noosa Council, in partnership with TransLink, are providing free local buses so it’s easy to get around without the car. Go to noosa.qld.gov.au/free-holiday-buses for more info.

Or you could try casting a line from our private jetty – you may just land the catch of the day…

Test yourself in The Noosa Ultimate Sports Fest coming to Noosa on the 26-27 April 2014 and  billed as the ultimate mix of swimming, running and cycling events to suit all ages and abilities. The festival includes a mix of sporting events and entertainment for the whole family. There’s Swim Noosa on the Saturday with a range of ocean swim distances: 3.8km| 2km | 1km | 500m. Cycle Noosa on the Sunday includes two distances to meet all cyclist enthusiast needs: 160km | 85km. Run Noosa  events also take place on the Sunday and offer a variety of distances with promises of beautiful beach scenery and a field of fun! Whether you compete or spectate, – there’s plenty of choice.

 

Eumundi Noosa's colourful body art carnivaleOne man’s dream…another man’s nightmare?

Explore a festival of colour on human canvasses at The Australian Body Art Carnivale 3-4 May in Eumundi. This year’s theme, “Dreams and Nightmares” is sure to showcase wide ranging artistry and interpretation. Event organisers promise a feast of entertainment including ticketed events on the Friday and Saturday evenings, competitions and exhibitions in wearable art, vehicle art and photography. It will be a weekend of music, street performers, market stalls, and fun activities for kids and families including face painting, craft workshops, pavement art and the ‘All dolled up’ doll decoration workshop and competition.
