Sunshine Coast Pride Festival

Celebrate diversity all night…

…with family and friends by the sea

Noosa Heads celebrates its diversity with The Sunshine Coast Pride Festival, an LGBTIQ event, that aims to provide a fun environment for family and friend celebration. Pride Party Night begins at 8 pm on Friday 26 February, and lasts until 3 am at the Reef Hotel. Entry is only $10, so it’s perfect for large groups who want to enjoy drag shows, crafty family fun at the kids’ fun zone, Tug o War, giveaways, street entertainment and even a Pride Paws Parade for the proud pooches.

The Pride Paws Parade encourages entry from all dogs and their owners, and there is even a Best Pride Parent Look-alike, Most Glamourous Pooch, and Best Rainbow Pride Pooch. Owners can register for free at

A DJ and Queen’s Ball Awards will also take place, and everyone is sure to enjoy the market stalls. At Eumindi Ampitheatre, activities will be hosted by drag queen Monica Fusions, and the Rainbow Stage will be hosted by drag queen, Melony Brests, from the Sunshine Coast.

Other entertainment includes Dykes on Bikes, Andrea Kirwin, Mettaphor, Annie J., Gambler, Burlesque L’amour, and Fusion, Darren Adler and Lizzy Maynes.

All are welcome close by at the Noosa Quays Luxury Resort, where family and friends can relax after a day of celebration. This family operated resort is tucked away with its own private beach for paddle boarding, water taxis or relaxing in the sea salt breezes. Oversized balconies are all direct waterfront (except one by the pool), so the stunning views can be seen from every room.
