…to see a New Year in Noosa

As the skies light up with spectacular fireworks on New Year’s Eve, those in Noosa are sure to have stunning views from a variety of riverside restaurants. In addition, many restaurants and cafes in the area will be open for special hours for the holiday, so you can plan a romantic evening of reminiscing as the hours left in 2015 dwindle. Take a look at a few of the restaurants and cafes below, along with some of their special offerings. Please note that locations, unless otherwise noted, will be closed for New Year’s Day.

  • Noosa Beach House Peter Kuruvita – Early seating is available from 5 to 7, with late seating at 8 pm. Miss Moneypenny’s – New
  • Year’s Eve, Miss Moneypenny’s will be open from 7.30 am to 2 am with their Glitterball Gala.
  • Cafe Le Monde – This café is open from 6 am to 2 am New Year’s Eve, with a set dinner menu and party detailed on their website here
  • Bistro C – Sequins and Bow Ties will take place from 7.30 pm to 1 am with RnB Band ($250 per person).
  • Noosa Boathouse – Dinner bookings are available at $89 per person with a discounted child’s menu, and the boathouse will be open for lunch during normal hours.
  • Villa Noosa Hotel – The party begins here with featured acts are Ministry of Sound DJ, DJ Chardy, Dave Winnel and A-Tonex supported by DJ Jester.

Noosa Marina Restaurants – Restaurants below offer the prime location for viewing the Noosa fireworks show.

  • Riverdeck Restaurant – Two sets of fireworks will be displayed, as the restaurant opens from 11.30 am to 3 for lunch, and live music played from 7 pm to 1 am. Tickets are $145.
  • Rump House steak Seafood River Lounge – With a New Year’s Eve Party, live music, two firework shows and a three course dinner, $130 per person includes quite the bang for your buck beginning at 7 p.m.
  • Italian Marina – This marina will be open for lunch and dinner on New Year’s Eve.
  • Harbour Wine Bar – Open for New Year’s Eve only.
  • Café Vin Cino – The café will be open from 8 am to 3.30 pm New Year’s Eve.
